Scientists have found a way to use your tablet / mobile device in bed without disrupting your melatonin production.
The disruption caused to melatonin production has been shown to make sleep difficult for those who just can't put down their mobile devices before or even in bed.
The study showed that reducing the brightness of your device (in settings) and holding it at least 14 inches from your face reduced the disruption seen in the patients sleep.
Other tricks to help you sleep better include:
-Keeping your bedroom cool.
-Avoiding large meals or lots of alcohol right before bed.
-Reduce caffeine intake.
- If you can't fall asleep after 30 minutes its recommended that you get up and go do something else until you feel sleepy and then try once again.
