They say that you spend a third of your life sleeping. Well whoever they are they certainly weren’t at my house this Christmas. Between shopping, decorations and dinners it doesn’t feel like I have had a good night’s sleep since November. That’s why I was so excited to find out about the Festival of Sleep Day.
Happening every year on the 3rd of January it is an annual celebration of everything that is great about slipping into semi consciousness for 8 hours at a time.
Unlike a lot of other holidays it doesn’t require any planning, any decorating and definitely no cooking. All you need is a bed, a comfy pillow (we would recommend the Putnam King Pillow) and possibly a teddy bear and then just let yourself drift off and certainly don’t start panicking that there are only 255 days shopping days until Christmas.
